# Add a copy button to sm mode system view

If your trying to make lots of the same thing it would be nice to have a copy button that makes the same of everything of that body that you chose

In the system view screen you click a body and click copy it creates the same duplicate body be it star,planet, asteroid,or comet

Like in the exact same position? I guess assuming you intend to move them somwhere else I guess it would work well enough.

Except for stars, esp. if you are copying the primary I feel like there’s a lot of opportunities for things to break in very fun ways.

Oh I see what you mean

I think if you copy it will bring up a screen to modify the body including position,atmos, and the like

I don’t know how stars would be moved I just assumed they would pop up in a dual star position

Making exact duplicates of the same body so many times you need a button for it seems like an _extremely_ niche case. I can guarantee the time spent by people manually doing this, the few times they need to dupe a body, will be less time than it takes Steve to add it as a feature.
