What’s the biggest defense station someone has ever made?
I guess that depends on how you define defense. I can’t recall exactly how big it was, but I had a armorless design that was 1m or so. It was a hanger/fueling station. Once you get that large it has some pretty insane HTK. I loaded it up with a lot of CIWS so much so that nothing could get through. The hangers let it have close range for defense. Was a fun design.

Did you move any of this to another body?
I have a large habitat, more or less of these dimensions, but my largest tug can move it at 30 km/s only…!
I did tow it yeah. It was awhile ago so I’m fuzzy on the details but I towed it to another spot in system. It took a while, though the tug did go faster than 30km/s. I want to say it was in the low 100s. Time wasn’t too much of a factor though so it worked out.

I wish to bring some habitat from Earth to Eris, where I discovered a construct with research bonus.
But habitats in the range of 1 million people would take more than 6,600 days to be tugged there. So I’m reducing the population to 200 k; but anyway it takes 350 days, using a tug that can move at more than 11,000 km/s.
a bunch of smaller habitats with a fleet of tugs usually works best but it is fun to just make huge stations..
