Steve, nice to read the first part of the campaign, congrats for the victory against the necros.
Have your ground forces FFD elements to help the ship in orbit against the enemy ground troops?
I was also expecting to see the new 3D galactic map in all its splendor, wasn’t it implemented?

The 3D map is just a complement to the 2D map - it isn’t meant to replace it. Also, if I post a 3D screenshot, it just becomes a less detailed 2D screenshot.
It is much easier to plan in 2D, while the 3D allows you to rotate the map in three axes and visualize likely connections in known space.
Ground forces do have FFD.

A new campaign! Awesome cant wait to see where this goes. Will say i wonder if its possible for another thread for the campaign that has all the designs as the campaign progresses.

It gladdened my heart to see a new campaign had been started. Both because that means we’re closer to getting our hands on 3.0 and because I really enjoy reading Steve’s campaigns. This one is already shaping up nicely.
