#2095 is maintenance production.
I think I fixed a bug for v3.0 caused by an NPR that didn’t have a capital population. How comfortable are you with looking things up in the database?
Looks like it.

Never done it before
Do you have a way to open the AuroraDB file and view it?
May I suggest this one: DB Browser for SQLite ?
OK I have DB browser for SQlite. what exactly would I be looking for? How is it organized. cause if it’s just a bizilion lines of code I’ll give up now.
Firstly, there will be a few spoilers in this process, so if that is a problem you might be better starting a new game. Assuming not, here goes…
In the database is a list of tables. One is called FCT_Race. There will be rows of data, with each row containing information about one race. The data is organised into columns, such as RaceID, GameID, etc.
One of those columns, probably the third, is called NPR and the data for each race in that column will be either 1 or 0. The 1 means it is an AI race. Make a list of the RaceIDs for each race with a 1 in the NPR columns.
Note if you are running multiple games, you only need the races for your current game. You can check the GameID in the FCT_Game table. Just find the GameName you recognise, write down the ID, then only look for races in FCT_Race with NPR = 1 and the right GameID.
Now open FCT_Population. There is a column called Capital. You need to sort the column into descending order. In the software I use (Valentina Studio), all I need to do is click on the column to sort ascending and then click again for descending. If anyone knows that DB Browser is different, please jump in.
Once you have that table sorted in descending order of Capital, you will have a list of populations with a 1 in the capital column. Read down that list and check the RaceID of each population against the list of AI RaceIDs you made earlier. If you have a RaceID without a matching population with Capital = 1, that is causing the bug.
If that is the case, find a population with that RaceID, preferably the one with the largest value in the Population column and change the 0 in the Capital column to a 1.
Make sure the game is not running when you do this. Also worth making a copy of the file before you modify it.
okay thanks Steve I think I got it.
