On the Admin Command Assignment Locations section of the Naval Org screen, add a checkmark to filter out flag module ships that have a naval admin command already associated with them.

This is a very niche problem, but if you reduce your species gravitational habitability range such that 0.1G is no longer the bottom limit of habitability, you create a mismatch between Retain Atmosphere which is constant at 0.1G and Low Gravity which could be anything. This can make identifying good colony sites difficult because the UI display/search features don’t account for Retains Atmosphere, just Low Gravity. Retaining atmosphere can be the difference between CC1 and CC2 which is huge when you’re dealing with the reduced colonization options of say a 0.25G gravitational limit.

Request: when the species low gravity limit is higher than 0.1G, append “-RA” to the CC value of bodies which Retain Atmosphere but are Low Gravity, as in “2.00LG-RA”.
For the sickos out there who play species with a low gravity limit below 0.1G there might also need to be a distinction between between bodies that are “normal gravity” but are stuck with No Atmosphere, resulting in “2.00NA”.
Even better would be to also add UI options for Retains Atmosphere to the mineral search and system generation (wide view) colony search features.

On the ground organizations tab, whenever you click on an org in the left side, the right side populates with a summary of the org like BP cost, unit count, shot count etc.

It’d be nice if at the bottom of all of that if there was a mineral cost breakdown too. Yes, most of the time it’ll just show Vendarite but:
A - Unlike most ship components, GUs BP cost is often not inline with their mineral cost, so the Vendarite cost isn’t immediately obvious.
B - The org might have STOs in it, in which case the mineral breakdown becomes more important to understand what needs to be delivered to the training grounds.

Honestly I’d like to see the option to be able to enable the same auto-assignment system we have for governors for sector administrators as well.

Depending on how you structure your empire you might have quite a few and using the story mode checklist is a workaround that makes them immortal if you just leave it at that.

When we select the Field Position of a ground unit, it would be useful to write the name of that GU somewhere. Just to be sure, if it is the highlighted one in the left list (red arrow in the image) or the one on the right (green arrow).

Field Position is at the Formation level, not the Element level. The formation selected in the left list will is the one you are adjusting, not the formation elements on the right.

Often, some message is helpful for decisions in that map.

A fleet shore leave event.

Right now we only have the shore leave complete event which throws one instance per ship in the fleet. For large fleets this can be a bit troublesome as when the entire fleet completes its shore leave the event window gets spammed with tons of shore leave events.

On the other hand I don’t want to hide it as its the main way to be notified about shore leave. Having a fleet version would allow me to hide the per-ship event and be notified when every ship in the fleet has completed its shore leave.

That could result in no text depending on the background colour.

The text would still be there though right, just the same colour as background? So if it happens you should still get the pause and can edit the background colour then just drag in space to update the colours without unpausing

I have been wondering about this for a while.

Would it be possible to have an tick box for… inverted time advancement?

Example,

You are auto advancing time by 5 day jumps, then it drops to 5 to 15 second advancements because the aliens are having a slapping match somewhere. You have no idea when they are going to stop so you cant just leave it run while you go watch a film or you may miss months or even years before your next natural interrupt happens.

So you tick the box and press 5 days auto advance. The game will continue to try and advance in 5 day jumps as normal, but when it manages to do a normal uninterrupted 5 day long jump it then pauses. So when you come back to the PC and see the game paused after a 5 day jump you know the aliens slap match has ended and you can get back to your grand plans for your empire (you DID write those down on a scrap of paper before you walked away from the PC right? RIGHT?! sigh, guess they are forgotten to time again)

That make sense?
