Is there any way to search a defined subset of systems in the Minerals Tab?

I have something like 15 systems connected with stabilized jump gates.

I need to search those systems for certain minerals, etc.

Is there any way to do this short of looking at each system individually one by one?

In the Economics window, try the tab Empire Mining.

Thatā€™s not exactly what Iā€™m looking for as that gives me a report on current mining output of established colonies - helpful, but not what Iā€™m looking to do. Iā€™m looking to search through 15 defined systems to find the best source of mineral X.

There is a ā€œsearch flagā€ checkbox at the top of the Minerals screen which I was hoping would allow me to tag systems to be included in the search (to the exclusion of untagged systems), but I canā€™t see how to flag a system. Perhaps that box has some other use?

Search Flag checkbox in the Minerals window should be linked to the Mineral Seach Flag in the Miscellaneous tab of the Galactic Map.

In the Empire Mining tab, upper half, you see the annual production of all your mining sites, so I think you can find your best producer between all of yours.

A search by sector could be cool. But at least for me it is a low priority change.

Not at my pc so going off memory but there is a button on the top bar near the components and alien intel buttons that opens a mineral screen. I. That screen you can search for specific minerals, accessibility and combinations in any surveyed system or change to look at just a specific system.

Not overly helpful description but it is in the game.

Nevermind misunderstood what you where asking, best I can think of is search all systems at once or one at a time.

On the Miscellaneous tab of the Galactic Map, there is a check box called ā€˜Mineral Search Flagā€™. There is also a checkbox on the Display tab called ā€˜Mineral Search Flaggedā€™.

On the Minerals Search window, there is a ā€˜Search Flagā€™ checkbox. If this is clicked, the search will only show minerals in systems that have the ā€˜Mineral Search Flagā€™ set on the Galactic Map.

These systems will be highlighted on the Galactic Map if you have ā€˜Mineral Search Flaggedā€™ checked.
