This scenario used limited research capacity and 30% research speed, so it is going to be slow going, especially in the early game. Look no further than it taking seven years to get a functioning jump drive!
Please let me know which format for ship specs ya’ll prefer; I don’t care for the block text but I can’t post more than one image per reply yet and I’m not sure how Steve does his in the “Sun Never Sets II” AAR.
Steve is using a new feature in 2.8 that we do not get to play with yet.
Only a few have used the new feature. What I’ve done for the others is changed my Word doc to the same colours as the forum. I create a master copy of the campaign, including pasting the summary text into the doc, so when I use the snipping tool to paste from the Word doc to the forum, the colours match.
For reference, the background is #002B36, which is 0, 43, 54.
The fore colour is #FCF6E1, or 252, 246, 225.
Sadly I don’t have word, maybe I post them in my Obsidian page, i might be able to format that.
That should work, since Discourse uses Markdown for formatting. I’ve thought about switching to Obsidian for future AARs for the same reason.
At last! Almost a week of work, I hope it captures some of the whimsical glee of all good Naval Conferences!
I am looking for audience participation here, so if you have any opinions as to how the United Nations Void Navy should approach the thorny problem of jump point warfare, please share them here!
