I’ve ditched Windows completely for obvious reasons, and I know that the old forum had a guide somewhere on how to run the game using Steam’s emulation. Does anyone have a write-up on how they got it working? I know there were some gotchas about resolution and scaling of the UI.
Adding Aurora.exe or AuroraPatch.exe if you are using Release AuroraPatch 0.1.6 build 62 · Aurora-Modders/AuroraPatch · GitHub as a non-steam game will allow you to use steam proton.
That by itself will allow you to run the game. The issue you might run into would be with respect to fonts etc. so you might want to use one of the theme packs with AuroraPatch like DeepBlue or Solaris
